We are seeking an Infant Toddler Preschool Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.

• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
• Caring for a group of 6-11 toddlers through their daily routine
• Work collaboratively with the co-teacher in the classroom
• Change diapers
• Daily cleaning and tidying of the classroom
• Assist with mealtime
• Lifting and carrying children
• Lifting or moving equipment such as cots, tables, chairs, and cubbies
• Bend, stoop, kneel, sit, or stand for long periods throughout the day

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CPR/First Aid certification
• DCF 45 Hours (required)
• CDA preferred but not required
