Job Startdate: By Agreement (or 1.9.2026 or tbd)
Responsibilities- Advise and consult on‑site commissioning tasks and troubleshooting activities
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, including service and working reports, maintenance logs and observation for further reference and compliance. Ensure an economic use of resources.
- Ensuring the correct recording of hours, project controlling (expenditure and income) and forwarding of data for invoicing
- Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements during all field activities, implementing best practices to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with company standards.
- Work effectively with other engineers and other parties. Share the insights and ensure comprehensive solution to complex technical issues
- Continuously update own and others technical skills and knowledge through training and education about the latest advancements in marine engine technology and service practices.
- MSc in Mechanical Engineering
- 2‑Stroke Engine Knowledge:
Feel for engine performance, thermodynamics, vibrations, materials, and structures. - Experience of 2‑stroke engine service & operation including automation system & electronics.
- Graduated in equipment, electrical, or electronics‑related fields or with relevant experience.
- Focusing on hands‑on experience with safety standards in field operation.
- Strengths in troubleshooting / measurements on board and/or high complexity work such as software update and onboard tuning related work
- Experience or ability to support effective management of field service projects and coordination with teams.
- PC user Software and simple "PC setup" skills are necessary.
- Ability to interpret and create documents in English and effectively communicate.
- Self‑driven and self‑critical working behaviour with the target of continuous improvement.
