Responsibilities- Layout and design of innovative and state of the art powertrain componenets, such as variable compression ratio system, supply unit drive, gears and plain bearings
- Layout, design and adaptation of powertrain systems for retrofit to existing engines
- Provide excellent support for the WinGD service business
- Develop powertrain components for minimum cost and maximum customer satisfaction
- Failure analysis and development of repair solutions in case of damages
- Support Licensees and handle requests for alternative executions and non-conformity reports
- Degree in mechanical engineering (M.Sc.,
B.Sc., Dipl.
-Ing. or equivalent) - Knowledge of design and stress assessment of mechanical components
- Experience in CAD system (NX preferred) & FEM software (ANSYS Workbench preferred) required
- Experience in EHD software AVL EXCITE & gear calculation software KISSsoft beneficial
- Fluent in English, German beneficial; good oral and written communication
- Independent, self-driven and target oriented way of working
