We are looking for a senior IT executive who will act as a right hand to the CIO, supporting in leading IT to become a business-oriented and highly effective organization as a
Head of IT Service & Portfolio Management (f/m/d) 100% Your daily contribution:- Lead enterprise-wide IT governance, portfolio management, demand management, and performance management
- Define and implement IT operating models, methodologies, processes, and tools across the organization
- Ensure IT invests in the right priorities while delivering projects and services efficiently and effectively
- Oversee the IT project portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, quality execution, and alignment with business objectives
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and remove organizational silos to enable seamless project and service delivery
- Manage IT financials, budgeting, vendor relationships, contracts, outsourcing partners, and audit requirements
- Develop and continuously improve core IT processes, including demand, change, incident, vendor, contract, and problem management
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting to measure performance, increase transparency, and drive continuous improvement
- Build and develop high-performing teams, contribute to IT strategy, and promote a customer‑centric, connected company culture
- Degree in Computer Science or Business administration or equivalent professional qualification, preferred MBA
- Extensive understanding and track record in IT Service Management, Service Definition, Service Implementation and Service Operations
- Ideally having been in the role of CIO Office Manager, or as a CIO advisory Consultant
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, etc., preferably not entry certificates but advanced training
- Practical in-depth experience in the definition and implementation of IT Operating Models
- Expertise in budget planning, financial management and work‑force management
- Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs
- Experience with globally distributed cross‑functional teams
- Extensive Experience in delivering IT projects, IT project methodology and frameworks, and PMO leadership
- Experience in change and transformation management
- Ability to differentiate between a relevant trend and hype
- Able to work with senior leadership and confidence in communication at all levels
- Strong business partner, ability to quickly adapt the company's business and processes
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changeable industrial environment
- Fluency in English, German a plus
