Position SummaryWant to make a lot of people’s day? Our Member Frontline Cashier Associates are the heart of our front end. You may be the first, last, or only associate our members interact with. That’s why it’s important to smile, greet, and thank each member. We are looking for friendly faces to run registers and support our members through the self-checkout experience.
The pace can be fast, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during holiday seasons. You may juggle several tasks in a short time while helping members: scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean area. It’s hard work, but cashiers often find it rewarding as part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.
Maintains safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures; conducts safety sweeps; follows forklift spotting procedures; follows procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials; follows company standards; and reports unsafe situations to facility management.
Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, promoting products and services, guiding members on self-service technology, processing purchases, assisting with payments, and keeping areas organized and member-ready.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; uses Open Door Policy; and applies these in business processes and practices.
Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; setting priorities and deadlines; communicating progress; and identifying opportunities for improvement.

The hourly wage range is $16.00 to $23.00*
- The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances (schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed). Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
