Description
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Hours: Thur and Friday, 4p-10p and Sunday 10a-10p for a total of 24 hours a week
Brighter Heights Maine is looking for engaging and patient DSPs to work in our 3 resident Winthrop home.
Licensure:An existing DSP Certificate is desired and a Certified Residential Medication Aide Certificate( CRMA) is highly preferred. If needed, we will provide CRMA training at no cost to you.
DSP Responsibilities:- work with our clients, their families and other service providers to promote independence
- help them develop daily living skills, provide direct care and administer medication if you have your CRMA.
- assist with housekeeping, personal hygiene, transportation, meal prep, grocery shopping,
- take clients into the community for outings.
- always maintain respect for our clients and treat them with dignity
- must have High School Diploma or GED
- One year of experience with adults in a supervised setting
- Must have strong Communication and computer skills
- Must have up to date state mandated immunizations
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
