Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading company in the power generation sector to recruit a Project Administrator for the construction of a new Energy from Waste power plant in Wisbech.

The Project Administrator role comes with a competitive salary + benefits and is contracted for 40 hours per week with flexibility.

Responsibilities and duties of the Project Administrator role

Reporting to the Project Manager you will:

  • Provide administrative support to project and site teams.
  • Assist with contract administration and record keeping.
  • Maintain and update the document control system.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with UK legislation and company policies.
  • Monitor and manage site stock and supplies.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistics for staff and visitors.
  • Manage visitor access, inductions, and site records.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, meeting notes, and correspondence.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably within a fast-paced project or site environment.
  • Background in construction, engineering, or heavy industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable with digital document management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in minute taking, document preparation, and maintaining accurate records.
