gap construction are proud to be representing a well-respected regional housing developer in their search for a Finishing Foreman to oversee the finishing stages of a 300-unit timber frame site close to Marham. This is an excellent opportunity to be a key player in delivering a major residential development and be part of a forward-thinking, quality-driven team.
Project Overview:
The development comprises 300 residential units of timber frame construction, designed to meet modern sustainability and energy efficiency standards. The project will include a mix of private and affordable housing, green spaces, and associated infrastructure. As a Finishing Foreman, you will be essential in ensuring that the final stages of construction are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the finishing stages of the 300-unit timber frame residential development.
Deliver multiple plots simultaneously, ensuring that work is completed on time and to high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Supervise sub-contractors and coordinate all site activities to maintain progress and quality.
Ensure that all finishing works adhere to the required specifications, including high-quality standards for painting, plastering, flooring, and carpentry.
Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all site personnel.
Liaise with senior management and project teams to report on progress, issues, and milestones.
Ensure all site records are kept up to date and support compliance and reporting requirements.

Key Requirements:

Proven ability to manage multiple plots in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage sub-contractors effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
Strong organisational and communication skills to ensure smooth site operations and collaboration.
Relevant qualifications and a valid CSCS card.
