About

The Wisbech Academy

The Wisbech Academy is a new 11-16 600‑student (120 PAN) secondary school which opened for students in September 2024 to help meet growing demand for school places in Wisbech, North Cambridgeshire.

The school opened within the Thomas Clarkson Academy building in Phase One to provide additional capacity for 100 students in September 2024. The Phase One modular building will be built ready for September 2025 and it will be located off of Weasenham Lane, next to where the permanent new school building will be created. The new school will also be located alongside the existing Thomas Clarkson Academy, as part of the Wisbech Campus, allowing the schools to share capacity and facilities to provide better opportunities for students and staff now and in the future.

Students and staff are expected to move into the new building during the 2026/2027 academic year, subject to planning, where it will grow into a 120 PAN school.

We actively welcome visits to the academy; please contact us if you would like to do this.
