What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with responsibility for supporting and monitoring EAL teaching and pupils across the school. If you have a passion, ambition and commitment to ensure our children reach their potential and develop a love of learning particularly in the outdoors then we would love to hear from you!
We would like a HLTA who:- has a genuine interest in children and is able to respond to them professionally with a quiet authority.
- is passionate about meeting the needs of all children including those with SENd additional needs.
- can lead the class during PPA and cover situations.
- can support the class teacher to ensure the active participation of children in the academic and social activities of the school.
- will contribute to raising standards of achievement for all children.
- is willing to engage with all aspects of school life, parents and the wider community.
- wishes to work in an organisation with strong ethical values and is willing to work with us to ensure that The Elliot Foundation Values are embedded.
