About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring and visionary Head of Art, Design & Technology to lead and develop a dynamic department encompassing Art, Design Technology, and Food & Nutrition. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape a new department from the ground up-creating schemes of learning, developing specialist facilities, and establishing a culture of creativity and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire teaching across Art, Design Technology, and Food & Nutrition.
- Design an engaging curriculum for KS3 and beyond.
- Build and develop a team, including recruitment and mentoring.
- Ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Oversee resources, health & safety, and specialist spaces.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community.

What We're Looking For
- Passionate educator with expertise in any ADT discipline.
- Strong leadership potential and vision for the department.
- Experience in curriculum planning and assessment at KS3 (KS4/5 desirable).
- Commitment to innovation, problem-solving, and student growth.
