Salary: £32,916 - £51,047 + TLR 2B

We are inviting applications for a dedicated Head of MFL to establish and grow a forward‑thinking languages department within a new and ambitious school environment. This leadership post will involve shaping a coherent, rigorous MFL curriculum and embedding language learning as a key component of the school's academic offer.

• Lead the creation and implementation of an academically robust MFL curriculum.
• Recruit, develop and mentor MFL staff.
• Establish high‑quality teaching, assessment and language enrichment.
• Promote cultural awareness through language learning experiences.
• Work collaboratively across the school to support whole‑school curriculum vision.

• Excellent MFL subject knowledge and teaching experience across KS3/KS4 (KS5 desirable).
• Leadership skills with a track record of setting high expectations.
• Ability to build engaging and inclusive language programmes.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and innovation.
