We are seeking an exceptional Head of Religion, Philosophy & Ethics (RPE) & Character Development to lead a core subject area and support whole‑school character education. This distinctive role blends academic leadership with strategic influence on personal development programmes across the school.

• Lead the RPE curriculum and delivery of RPE at all key stages.
• Shape and embed the school's character education framework.
• Develop meaningful enrichment, tutor time and ethical reasoning opportunities.
• Mentor RPE staff and build a high‑performing department.
• Contribute to wider school strategy, culture and values implementation.

• Deep subject knowledge in RPE with excellent teaching practice.
• Vision for character development integrated across school life.
• Leadership skills with ability to build culture and coach colleagues.
• Passion for inclusive education and student personal growth.
