Position: Learner Support Officer (Term-time)

JOB TITLE:

LOCATION:

Wisbech

HOURS:

22 to 35 hours per week (between 8.30am - 4.30pm)
SALARY: £13.38 - £13.59 per hour, plus £2.66 to £2.69 per hour for annual leave as this is a term-time post(£25,749 - £26,149 FTE)

Here at the College of West Anglia we are proud of the success of our foundation learning provision providing our learners with invaluable support to succeed in their chosen course from pre-entry to level 1. We recognise that all learners have differing needs and our continued growth in student numbers pays testament to the high quality support we provide. Learner support officers within the foundation team will support a range of students both within and outside of the classroom.

These are varied roles where you can expect to work with learners with educational health and care plans or recognised special educational needs in areas such as maths, English, sessions developing independent living skills and more. No two days are the same. We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving foundation learning support team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength.
