Welder Fabricator

We are currently recruiting for MIG/TIG Welders to join an established engineering and manufacturing business.

This is a great opportunity for both entry-level welders looking to develop their skills and experienced welders looking for a long-term position within a well-established company.

The Role

As a MIG/TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating components to a high standard, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work meets the required quality standards.

Your duties will include:

* MIG and/or TIG welding of components

* Fabrication and assembly of metalwork

* Working from engineering drawings

* Tack welding and preparation of components

* Checking finished work to ensure it meets quality requirements

* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

* Working both independently and as part of a team

About You

We are interested in hearing from candidates with a background in MIG or TIG welding and fabrication.

Entry-level candidates with basic welding experience will also be considered, with training and development available for the right person.

Ideally, you will have:

* MIG welding experience

* TIG welding experience is advantageous

* Previous fabrication/manufacturing experience

* Ability to read engineering drawings

* Good attention to detail

* Reliable and hardworking approach

* Ability to work as part of a team

Salary & Benefits

* Tier 1 – Entry Level: £15.15 per hour

* Tier 2 – Experienced: £16.98 per hour
