What you'll do:

As a Dental Assistant you will work to enhance the daily operations of the clinic by providing excellent care and communication to our patients. As a Dental Assistant you will:

  • Prepare, sterilize, disinfect, and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies
  • Collect and record patient health histories, take impressions and x-rays
  • Ensure patient comfort during dental procedures
  • Prepare dental materials (cements, amalgam, composite, impression materials, etc.)
  • Complete charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes from the doctor as directed
  • Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies
  • Cleans/polishes removable devices; fabricate temporary restorations, custom trays, study models
  • Deliver postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient
  • Maintain infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staff
  • Assist administrative team with customer service functions
  • Present treatment plans to patients
What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience preferred
  • Previous customer service or office experience
  • Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days in dental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Foster a positive attitude and be a team player
Patient Care

Hours:

Monday 7:30am to 4:30pm
Tuesday 7:30am to 4:30pm
Wednesday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm
