Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Port Edwards Plant (Wisconsin Rapids)

Hours: 40 hours per week

The Role:

  • Perform preventative and repair maintenance tasks for electrical and instrumentation throughout the plant (preventative techniques may include thermography, vibration analysis, etc.)
  • Conduct electrical and instrument troubleshooting and repairs on assigned equipment.
  • Specify, install and calibrate new electrical and instrumentation included in plant upgrades and modification.
  • Conduct safety interlock checks on a prescribed frequency; update electrical and instrument loop drawings as required.
  • Manage relevant work orders in the CMMS in support of preventative maintenance (PM) compliance (timely closure, etc.). Updates maintenance files, drawings and documentation. Ordering and control of repair materials.
  • Attend formal classes that support the Journeyman program. Log all necessary hours supporting training and other required documentation.

The Person:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Diploma from a vocational institution in Engineering, Math, Science, Electrical and Instrumentation preferred.
  • Regular attendance and skills advancement requirements from technical college and state journeyman program for eligibility in program and hold a position in the maintenance department.
  • Effective written and oral skills.
  • Superior troubleshooting skills is a must.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • A background in heavy industry or the Chemical Process is advantageous.
