The Forklift/Tote Operator is responsible for transporting bulk product totes under normal supervision. This role ensures the accurate movement, weighing, tracking, and handling of totes while maintaining safe work practices, supporting product quality, and keeping work areas organized and compliant with standards.

Operates forklift to transport bulk product totes under normal supervision.

• Transport bulk product totes to and from the tote off area, addback lines, and quality control.
• Weigh bulk totes of product and waste.
• Enter tote information into SAP.
• Move totes to correct location in the Americold Cage area.
• Distribute and organize recalled pallets by item code or cuts.
• Assist in the normal dumping of totes.
• Takes inventory of tote areas.
• Cleans and inserts new tote liners.
• Maintain, charge, and record installation batteries. Complete forklift checklist.
• Understand and participate in the techniques of the quality process.
• Promote and adhere to company safety regulations.
• Keep work area neat, clean, and orderly.
• Participate in factory clean‑ups.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

• Requires moderate mental and little manual skill.
• Requires some initiative and independence.
• Requires reasonable care to avoid minor equipment damage and considerable care to avoid major injury to self or others.
• Requires forklift certification.
