Remove foreign material and defects from line-flow and trim areas, pack boxes with good-finished bags, insert patties into flight belt, carton, or tray as directed, general plant clean-up, and relieves specialized utilities.
** Key Responsibilities**:
Promote and adhere to safety regulations while maintaining a clean work environment. Participate in quality processes, perform daily sanitation, and maintain cleanliness using chemicals. Efficiently handle packaging tasks, clean equipment, and sort products to remove defects. Monitor and supply stretch wrappers, verify case codes, and inspect product alignment. Adhere to sanitation standards and avoid contamination. Perform additional duties as assigned.

* Qualifications:

*** Requires mental and manual skill, initiative and independence.
* Requires substantial visual alertness.
* Required to lift weights up to 65 lbs., occasionally in an awkward position, and more if lifting with second person.
* Requires ability to obtain and sustain a forklift certification.
* Must be able and willing to cross train into a higher grade position within one year of start of job.

* Skills:

*** Work in an environment with exposure to loud and distracting noise, extreme temperatures from
-10 to 100 degrees F, and wet environments.
* Wear personal protective equipment appropriate to task performed.
* Work with high-pressure stream and water hoses, and foamers.
* Safely work with alkaline, acids and caustic chemicals in industrial strengths.
* Reasonable care to avoid minor damage to equipment and product and considerable care to avoid major injury of self and others.
