Center Director

Overview

Hannah Center exists to assist women in life crisis through compassion and guidance in a nurturing environment. We are seeking a Center Director to lead our Wisconsin Rapids location, including our residential program and community outreach program:
Kairos Care. The Center Director oversees daily operations, staff supervision, client advocacy, and community engagement. This role requires a balance of leadership, compassion, and organizational skills, with a strong commitment to trauma-informed and restorative practices.

• Hours: Average 45 hours/weekdays with some evenings/weekends
• Job type & location: In-person in Wisconsin Rapids location
• Reports to: Board of Directors Executive Committee (transitioning to Executive Director in future)

• Provide leadership and direction for center programs, staff, and volunteers.
• Ensure safe, effective, and mission-aligned operations of the Center.
• Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a supportive, healing-centered culture.
• Oversee client admissions, advocacy, and case management.
• Build community relationships and represent Hannah Center in outreach and fundraising efforts.
• Manage site-level budget, facilities, and reporting.

• Leadership and supervisory experience required; nonprofit or human services background strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to mentor staff and build trust with clients.
• Ability to organize, problem-solve, and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
  Quick Books and database familiarity a plus.
• Commitment to Hannah Center’s mission, values, and pro-life philosophy.
• Required: Must successfully pass a background check.

If you care about helping women in crisis and believe in the mission of the Hannah Center, there is always a need to add passionate people to our team. Duties include monitoring activities, performing light housekeeping, providing general support, mentoring, and companionship for all residents. Supports residents in completing work on their goals, provides general support, mentoring, and companionship to adults and children.

Assists with meal preparation, performs light housekeeping, is responsible for the security of the building, arranges emergency relief staff coverage and maintains accurate records of resident progress.
