Village of Prairie du Sac

The Village of Prairie du Sac seeks a full-time Deputy Clerk following the upcoming retirement of the current Deputy Clerk. Under the direction of the Clerk/Treasurer, this position supports municipal administration, customer service, finance, records, licensing, permitting, and elections.

• Process tax, utility, permit, and license payments and applications;
• Assist with utility billing, customer service, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll;
• Maintain official records;
• Support meetings, public-records requests, website updates, and office operations;
• Assist with elections and voter registration.
• Requires confidentiality, organization, independent judgment, deadline management, and professional public service.

$30.00 - $32.34/hour, DOQ. Applicants with documented municipal election, accounts payable, and/or payroll experience may qualify for a one-time sign-on bonus up to $3,300.
