We have teamed up with a trusted and reputable company in the Wausau area and are in search of a new member to join our team! This is a Direct Hire opportunity! Immediate opening for a Full-Time Service Technician. The main responsibilities are to take care of our customers vehicles in an efficient and timely manner. Service Technician Wage:
Depends on experience Service Technician Job Duties:The Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on vehicles, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction. They must be skilled in automotive technology, adhere to manufacturer standards, and work efficiently within the dealership's guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and computerized problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Perform repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and HVAC.
  • Complete manufacturer-recommended services according to guidelines.
  • Provide accurate assessments and recommendations for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors to explain the diagnosis and suggest necessary repairs.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Keep up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through training.
  • Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs.
  • Accurately document all services performed and parts used.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and dealership policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
  • Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems and technology.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Bending, crouching, and working in tight spaces as needed.

Oil Technician Schedule:
