Your Role:As a Master Automotive Technician, you will be at the forefront of diagnosing and fixing vehicles, ensuring our guests receive top-notch service. Your problem-solving skills and positive attitude will be key in creating a welcoming environment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize your expertise to diagnose and repair vehicles for our guests.
- Build your experience across a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with your team to troubleshoot and resolve guest concerns efficiently.
- Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding any concerns.
- Work alongside fellow technicians to meet deadlines and deliver outstanding results.
- Minimum of 5 years in high-level diagnostic work.
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve Master L1, A Tech preferred.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and ability to read schematics.
- Willingness to work 50-60 hours per week.
- A desire for long-term career development.
- Ability to work on and diagnose all makes and models.
- Must have your own toolbox and tools.
- Valid driver's license and insurable status.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Low comeback rate and a team-oriented mindset.
- Coachability and a positive can-do attitude.
- High proficiency with technology and familiarity with various manufacturer software and scan tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Must be able to stand for most of the shift.
- Ability to crouch, squat, and kneel for short periods.
- Work in tight spaces as needed for vehicle repairs.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles and navigate a computer efficiently.
