Business Owner/Director of Business Operations/Consultant/Recruiter – Superintendent

Our Client, a specialty contractor in barriers and markings is seeking to add a Superintendent team in Rio, WI covering the Western portion of WI (Janesville – Dubuque – Lacrosse).

This full‑time role runs an aggressive schedule of 10–12 hour days during the ON season (April–October) and limited 8‑hour days during the OFF season (November–March). Travel is expected during the ON season and the incumbent operates 95 % of the time from a home base.

Compensation is $105 k–$125 k plus a 10–15 % discretionary bonus and a company vehicle. Benefits include 80 % coverage for health, dental, and vision and a 401(k) plan with a 20 % employer reinvestment.

• Play a critical role in construction practices and projects related to pavement marking operations.
• Manage and lead field teammates.
• Lead crews in job and project management both in the shop and on worksites.
• Schedule crews and projects daily.
• Communicate with contractors and other team members as necessary.
• Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Manage budgets in the field and in the shop.

• 10+ years experience in the general construction field.
• 5+ years experience in road construction or pavement marking industry.
• 5+ years experience in a management role.
• Superior understanding of blueprints (reading and comprehension).
• Knowledge of scheduling work teams and material.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Capability to lift and carry up to 30 lb during workday and up to 100 lb in the shop for maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

• Commercial driver’s license – CDL.
• Experience with BTW/Trimble software.
• Experience with Vista by Viewpoint software.
