Corporate Director of Safety EPC

An Corporate Director of (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Health, Safety & Environmental Director) leads the overall safety strategy, compliance, and risk management programs across large-scale capital projects.

• Safety Strategy & Culture: Develop and improve company-wide safety and loss control programs to build an execution-focused safety culture.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all operations comply with OSHA regulations, client expectations, and industry standards.
• Risk Management: Oversee critical high-risk construction activities, such as lifting, excavations, energized electrical work, and work at heights.
• Subcontractor Oversight: Manage subcontractor safety onboarding, performance tracking, and adherence to project safety guidelines.
• Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a team of regional safety managers, officers, and field personnel.
• Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause analyses for major incidents and apply corrective actions across the project portfolio.

• Experience: 10 to 20+ years of progressive health and safety experience in heavy industrial construction, EPC, or major capital projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Management, or a related technical field.
• Certifications: Professional credentials such as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
• Skills: Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, risk assessment, leadership development, and incident root-cause analysis
