Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Town of Belgium

The WEAREONE.world group is the creative force behind a diverse range of creative industries including (Tomorrow land) festivals & events, music, fashion, storytelling, interior and product design, broadcasting, and media production. Within our music cluster, we bring together a record label (Tomorrow land Music), an artist management and booking agency (One World Artists), a DJ school (Tomorrow land Academy), a media production and distribution arm (Tomorrow land Media House), a global radio channel (One World Radio), and a dedicated business unit responsible for artist bookings and hospitality across our festivals & events.

To support this dynamic cluster, we are looking for a legal counsel with strong expertise in the music and artist performance industry. You will act as the legal single point of contact (SPOC) for the music cluster, providing pragmatic, fast‑paced, and solution‑oriented legal support across all its entities.

YOUR ROLE

As dedicated legal counsel for our music cluster, you will be the key legal point of contact for all music‑related initiatives of the WEAREONE.world group. You will work full‑time and independently and will divide your time between the legal team and the music cluster teams in our Antwerp headquarters to build strong relationships and ensure close alignment with the cluster’s operations and creative processes.

You are expected to operate with ownership, structure, and strategic insight, while maintaining a pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset that enables the cluster to move forward safely and efficiently. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, are comfortable with short deadlines, and can switch quickly between diverse legal domains ranging from IP clearance and artist contracting to media licensing and royalty structuring.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handle recording agreements, publishing deals, licensing and music releases across various platforms.
  • Advise on rights management, royalty structures, and the clearance of samples and third‑party content.
  • Support both inbound bookings for our events and outbound artist representation in their external careers.
  • Structure media rights deals and manage the production and distribution of live streams, branded content, and documentaries.
  • Provide legal guidance on educational programming and talent nurturing.
  • Ensure that all activities within the cluster are compliant with applicable legal frameworks and industry standards.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and report directly to the Head of Legal.
MUST‑HAVES
  • Master’s degree in law with demonstrable knowledge of Belgian law.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Demonstrable expertise in the music and artist performance industry.
  • Strong background in music contracting, IP clearance, royalty and licensing structures.
  • Experience as a lawyer is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Knowledge of international developments in the music and entertainment sector.
  • Pragmatic, solution‑oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable with multitasking and switching quickly between legal domains.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with creative teams.
  • High level of precision and legal finesse, especially in IP and licensing matters.
WE OFFER

You will join a dynamic and inspiring international environment, where creativity, innovation and quality are at the heart of everything we do. You will have the opportunity to work at the heart of one of the world’s most iconic creative brands and make a direct impact on high‑profile music and media projects.
