Position OverviewWe are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our video production team. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with our production team to edit engaging short-form videos for our social media channels. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop, and should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Responsibilities- Edit video footage to create engaging, short-form videos for social media platforms
- Work with the creative team to understand project scope and objectives
- Apply creative editing techniques, including but not limited to cutting, audio adjustments, color correction, motion graphics, etc.
- Implement text overlays and lower-thirds to supplement video content
- Dedication to learning and keep up-to-date with trends in editing, graphic design, and video production
- Social media management: schedule and post videos
- Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop
- Basic understanding of motion graphics (lower thirds, transitions, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well with a team
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to change
- Thorough attention to detail
- Basic understanding of audio and lighting concepts
- Organized and deadline-oriented
- Professional communication skills
- Experience with Canva and a basic understanding of graphic design
- Knowledge of media production and communication
- Social media management experience
- Experience or interest in other aspects of production

- Technical understanding of computer operating systems, hardware, and software
