Abilene, TX Locum General Dentist

I am partner with a practice in Abilene, Texas searching for General Dentist for locum coverage. Monday through Thursday, 3 to 6+ weeks of coverage. Start date is ASAP. This assignment will go fast.

  - Initially 3 to 6 weeks, with potential to extend
• Schedule - 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Procedures
  - Fillings, crowns (CEREC same-day), comprehensive exams, limited exams, emergency treatment
• Patient Volume - 16 hygiene patients and 12 to 14 operative patients per day; doctor runs two columns, one comprehensive and one limited
• Team - 6 operatories (3 hygiene, 3 doctor), 1 full-time hygienist running a full column

• Newer office, opened five years ago
• CBCT and iTero scanner on site
• CEREC in office for same-day crowns

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Active Texas dental license (or ability to obtain)
• Other Must-Haves
  - Comfortable with CEREC and same-day crown workflow; personable chairside manner with strong patient interaction
