3D Mechanical Designer / Stainless Steel Tank Designer

Quality Tank Solutions is a custom manufacturer of stainless steel equipment for food & beverage, wellness, dairy and pharmaceutical industries. Designed and engineered in Wisconsin.

We are currently seeking a 3D Mechanical Designer. This position will support manufacturing with 2D and 3D designs for projects and equipment. Primary responsibility will be to ensure we have the materials, equipment, and information necessary to complete the job. This position is ultimately responsible for understanding and accomplishing the customer's goals while protecting and promoting the interests of QTS.

• Create main assembly drawings
• Create detail drawings from main assembly drawings
• Create flat layouts for waterjet cutting
• Create and revise main and detailed drawings
• Create and revise technical routing and information sheets
• Create and revise bills of materials

• 1-3 years of experience in stainless steel tank design
• 1-3 years of RECENT experience using AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Inventor or Solid Works
• Excellent skills/knowledge of AutoCAD
• Good work Ethic
• Ability to take direction from others as well working independently

• Associated Degree or Technical School in Mechanical Design/Drafting

The pay range for this role is $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 USD per year
