Mesmerize, a segment of MJH Life Sciences and a leader in out-of-home and point-of-care advertising, is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to support its transit and large format production operation and its digital point-of-care network. Based in our Carrollton, TX office and reporting to the Production Coordinator, this role owns the full lifecycle of vehicle wrap and large format production — from intake and file repair through press-ready delivery — and supports the design and versioning of static and video content for healthcare waiting room and exam room screens.
The work is technical, deadline-driven, and detail-intensive, and we are looking for a production specialist who takes ownership of their output and brings a systematic approach to every job.
- Design and produce vehicle wraps for transit, including full and partial bus wraps, kings, queens, tails, and window perf, built on the transit authority or vendor template for the specific vehicle and accounting for panel splits, rivets, curvature, door and window cuts, and the areas lost on install
- Own incoming art from intake through release: confirm files are print-ready, troubleshoot what is not, rebuild and repair client‑supplied artwork by recreating logos and type from raster sources, chasing native files and fonts, and matching brand color when only a flattened file exists
- Preflight in Acrobat Pro, resolving missing fonts and links, insufficient raster resolution, and stray spot channels; prepare files to vendor specification including correct color space, spot and Pantone handling, ICC profiles, total ink limits, rich black, overprint, trapping, and PDF/X export standards
- Build and scale artwork for large format output, working at percentage scale from vendor templates and dielines and accounting for panel splits, seams, and bleed on oversize pieces
- Package and deliver artwork to print vendors, read and build to their specs, respond to file kickbacks, and confirm corrections before a job goes to press
- Create mock‑up designs and print‑ready designs, perform image retouching, and create spec sheets and templates for standard print materials and outdoor installations
- Design and adapt content for digital screens in healthcare waiting rooms and exam rooms, working to exact device specifications, safe areas, and export requirements for each format
- Edit, resize, and version video for the point‑of‑care network: trim, resize to screen specification, and assemble simple pieces with correct export settings and audio levels, shipping the editable project file alongside the final render
- Adapt client and source material into patient‑appropriate content using plain language, no web artifacts, and no clinical renaming of patient‑facing terms
- Use AI tools as a standard part of the production workflow for retouching, generative fill, background removal, upscaling, vectorization, spec checking, and repetitive production steps; verify output against source before it ships and turn recurring tasks into documented, repeatable workflows
- Proof and QA every deliverable before it ships, against the request, the brand guidelines, and the vendor or device specification
- File and archive finished…
