** POSITION SUMMARY
** Sauk Prairie Healthcare is a 36-bed, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) acute care hospital and two surgical specialty practices as well as four primary care clinics in Mazomanie, Plain, Spring Green and Lodi.  Our Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center with 10 bays.  We provide care for more than 40,000 people in our service area.
** POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
*** Examine, diagnose, treat and, when appropriate, refer to other qualified physicians, patients presenting to emergency department.
* Assist medical staff with calls involving life threatening emergency situations occurring on site.
* Supervise/collaborate with advanced practice clinicians.
** POSITION REQUIREMENTS

* Required:

MD
* Preferred:  Board certification in Emergency Medicine
** EXPERIENCE
* *
* Required:

Experience working in an Emergency Department/Urgent Care setting.
* Preferred:  Emergency Medicine trained.
** LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS

* Required:

State of Wisconsin license as a Physician and Drug Enrollment Agency (DEA) Registration.
* Preferred:  None
** CERTIFICATION(S):

* Required:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required.
