Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Pain Management Physician / Anesthesiologist to join a team of established anesthesiologists, pain management specialists and anesthesiologist assistants. Position would be roughly 50/50 Anesthesia/Pain.

Opportunity Highlights

• Engaged Anesthesiology / Pain Management team which is highly invested in teamwork and optimal patient outcomes
• Manageable anesthesia caseload to include endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and urology .No cardiac or trauma cases.
• Pain cases to include epidurals, radio frequency ablation, neuromodulation, bedside procedures; ultrasound and x-ray guidance.
  
  No medication management.
• Incentive compensation may be available in addition to base salary. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off and CME support). A sign-on bonus and relocation stipend may also be available, subject to eligibility.
• Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) through 501 (c)(3) nonprofit status
• 12 weeks of vacation, Biannual CME allowance of $6,000 and malpractice insurance with tail coverage

• Current or eligible for Vermont Medical License
• Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification in Pain Management and Anesthesiology (to be obtained within 5 years)
• Active hospital staff membership
