Position Overview
Great opportunity for an optometrist to join established ophthalmology practice in the Rio Grande Valley Texas area. This is a state‑of‑the‑art outpatient surgery center. Full time schedule, 5 days per week, Mon‑Fri no weekends. Compensation is 150k‑200k, quarterly bonus, 50k sign‑on bonus, relocation reimbursement, student loan repayment and full benefits package. There is also a track for partnership if the optometrist is interested.
This practice is located in an area abundant with wildlife, museums, and attractions for the whole family.
- Provide full‑scope optometry including routine eye exams.
- Handle medical cases.
- Provide optical bonuses.
- Advise patients on proper eye care techniques.
- Diagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism, and glaucoma.
