The Mandarin Associate Pastor is to work under the guidance of the Mandarin Lead Pastor.
Specifically,
- A. Needs to hold to the Bible as the Inspired, Inerrant Word of God that is the final authority for Christian faith and life.
- B. Has clear calling from God for pastoral ministry.
- C. Must agree with ACC's Statement of Faith.
- A. Ability to communicate well in both Mandarin and English, and work well in team environment.
- B. Ability to initiate and develop ministries.
- C. Successful leadership experience in the church.
- D. Confirmed gifts in teaching and preaching.
- A. Master’s degree or above from an accredited Seminary in North America.
- A. At least two years of experience in serving ethnically Chinese churches in North America.
- B. At least one year of experience in leading evangelical (outreach) and discipleship ministries.
- C. Pastoral ministry experience is a strong plus.
- A. Being married is highly preferable. If married, there should be a strong growing relationship together. The spouse must be very supportive of the ministry.
- A. Solid and close relationship with God.
