In This Role, You Will

empower students to discover their potential and pursue excellence—academically, personally, and spiritually—through high-quality teaching and authentic care. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional collaborator and team player, demonstrate a genuine love for Christ and a desire to share that love with students, and foster spiritual growth, Biblical understanding, and Christ‑centered character development across grade levels. We are particularly interested in educators passionate about working in urban education as a part of a high‑performing, driven staff.

Ideal candidates will also be well versed in strategies to promote metacognitive engagement and be willing to go the extra mile for students. Candidates should be organized, detail oriented, and show expertise in developing lesson plans.

Academics
  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, standards‑aligned Bible instruction for K4–6th and 9th grade students, using high‑quality materials, effective teaching practices, and a balanced approach to Scripture study, discussion, reflection, and application.
  • Foster Biblical understanding, spiritual growth, and discipleship through engaging and interactive lessons that help students connect God’s Word to their daily lives and develop a personal relationship with Christ.
  • Differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, providing whole‑group, small‑group, and individualized support while using standards and student learning data to guide planning and adjust instruction.
  • Monitor, assess, and document student learning using formative and summative assessments to track spiritual and academic growth, inform instructional decisions, and support students’ faith development.
