Kingwood Montessori School is a 501c3, non-profit, private, non-denominational Montessori School in Kingwood, Texas, founded in 2007. Kingwood Montessori provides high-quality education for children from 18 months through 6th grade. We are a ten-month school, with a Summer School from June through August each year. We follow the American Montessori Society Montessori curriculum and our students become leaders in their communities.

• Experience working with toddlers in a Montessori environment.
• Montessori-trained and/or certified OR willing to get certification.

• Supervise and care for children with grace and courtesy.
• Understand and practice childcare techniques that reflect guidelines for developmentally appropriate practice and Montessori philosophy.
• Actively participate in creating a positive team-oriented approach to caring for children and the environment of Kingwood Montessori School.
• The Lead Toddler Teacher takes care of children who are working on verbalizing their wants, needs and desires, potty training and learning academic skills.
• Candidates must be willing to commit to our families and the program, be of good moral character, quick to learn new concepts, and be willing to undertake any task enthusiastically.
• The ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and peacefully is vital, especially with peers and the classroom assistants under his or her care.
• The teacher will have strong background knowledge on how to plan lessons, develop a rich and creative curriculum for his or her classroom, work with parents, and always have a positive attitude.
• Candidates must have a passion for working with toddlers and be a good role model.
