Job title: Senior Solar Electrical Superintendent
Location: Texas, United States (On-site)
TGRC is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Solar Electrical Superintendent to oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical systems for large-scale solar projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
Manage the electrical installation process for utility-scale solar projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to schedule and prioritize electrical work activities.
Supervise a team of electricians and subcontractors, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and components to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently.
Coordinate with engineering and design teams to review electrical plans, specifications, and drawings, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including daily reports, material usage, and labor hours.
Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement strategies for optimizing project efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies, conducting safety training and inspections as required.
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and any potential challenges or delays.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical construction, preferably in the renewable energy or utility-scale solar industry.
OSHA 30 certification required.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and drawings.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Lastly, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
