E. Lee & Associates, Inc. (REL), a well‑established civil engineering firm located in the Green Bay metropolitan area, has an immediate opening for a full‑time Land Surveyor.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of a two‑year degree in civil engineering or land surveying, with at least one year of related field experience. Candidates must be able to work independently as a one‑person survey crew and possess a working knowledge of real‑time GPS and robotic total stations. Familiarity with Trimble equipment is a plus.
- Perform land surveying work including topographic surveys, construction staking, boundary surveys, and other various types of surveys.
- Prepare field sketches and field notes.
- Operate survey equipment such as GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
- Prepare construction cut sheets.
- Transfer files between data collectors and office PCs.
- Maintain a productive working relationship with clients and co‑workers.
- Hold a clean driving history, valid license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Perform tasks and solve problems independently.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and walk long distances.
- Carry survey equipment in various surroundings.
- Work in various weather conditions.
- Travel and remain on projects when needed.
