Lina T. Ramey and Associates, Inc. (LTRA) is a Texas-based engineering firm specializing in transportation, utility, CEI, and surveying services. We are committed to delivering solutions that support infrastructure improvements across the state. We are looking to expand our Survey Department with a qualified Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join our growing team.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an RPLS/Project Surveyor with 15 to 20 years of experience to support and lead efforts within our Survey Department. This role will involve managing multiple projects simultaneously and producing high-quality deliverables, particularly for TxDOT-related work.

  • Manage and oversee survey projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Prepare right-of-way mapping documents and deliverables in accordance with TxDOT standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, survey technicians, and field crews to meet project requirements.
  • Work in Micro Station and Open Roads to produce mapping and survey deliverables.
  • Review and process field data using Trimble Business Center.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external clients.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
Required Qualifications
  • Registered as a Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in the State of Texas.
  • 15 to 20 years of survey experience.
  • TxDOT precertification in survey categories preferred.
  • Proficient in Micro Station/ORD and Trimble Business Center.
  • Familiarity with TxDOT and local government agency requirements.
  • Professional demeanor with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
