Project Engineer Calculations

Your mission is to perform and support calculations that ensure the efficiency and reliability of our products. You will contribute to our roadmap in model‑based engineering by developing models for various building blocks and defining functional specifications, test plans, and qualification criteria for components. You will analyze test results to enhance models, close knowledge gaps, and support the project team in making key decisions.

In this role, you will support production and testing by analyzing performance rejections and generating production statistics, while applying relevant norms and regulations such as CE, PED, ASME, PTC
13, and ISO 5389. You will collaborate with cross‑functional project teams to ensure timely delivery to market and work closely with colleagues worldwide, including teams in China and India. Sharing knowledge and best practices within the team is key to fostering continuous improvement, as you maintain comprehensive documentation of calculations, methodologies, and project progress. You will report directly to Jan Corne, Team Leader Engineering, and work on‑site in a collaborative, international environment.

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong background in MATLAB calculations.
• Solid understanding of thermodynamics is a plus.
• Strong focus on time to market and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented with strong documentation skills.
