Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00-3:30

Duration: 1-year contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with product development staff to advise on product design direction and ensure compliance with required standards
• Assess and implement appropriate testing approaches, including equipment set-up
• Conduct hands-on electrical testing of varying complexity, including high voltage, high power, and thermal tests
• Perform both standardized and unique testing on electrical power distribution apparatus
• Review test methods from standards and develop repeatable testing procedures while improving quality and efficiency
• Design and set up test circuits, instrumentation, and controls; execute tests, collect data, evaluate results, and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure compliance with IEC/ISO 17025 and A2LA certification requirements, supporting lab safety and process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
• Hands-on experience with electrical test methods, equipment set-up, and data analysis
• Knowledge of high voltage and power distribution apparatus testing
• Familiarity with IEC/ISO 17025 standards is a plus
• Strong technical documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills
