Job OverviewAs an Electrical Project Lead Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, development, testing, and installation of packaging equipment. You will lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all technical aspects meet customer requirements and company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead electrical engineering projects, managing the entire lifecycle from design to installation.
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for packaging equipment.
- Perform machine testing, troubleshooting, and ensure equipment meets customer specifications.
- Program and implement control systems, including PLC, HMI, and motion controls, with a focus on Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure the successful integration of electrical designs.
- Maintain detailed electrical documentation, including schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs.
- Provide technical support during the installation, startup, and commissioning of equipment.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and align project goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in packaging equipment.
- Strong experience in PLC/HMI programming, specifically with Allen Bradley and Siemens.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Eplan, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Occasional travel required for project commissioning.
- Collaborative work environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
