Position Summary

The Senior Mechanical Engineer Project Leader will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for packaging machinery. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and collaborative abilities to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, mentor junior engineers, and uphold the company's standards of excellence in quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for automated packaging equipment.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs into larger systems.
  • Perform mechanical calculations and develop prototypes for testing and validation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical design and project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Works, and PDM systems.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and manufacturing processes.
