- Lead daily Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives across the facility
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- Support and monitor compliance with EPA, OSHA, and local regulations
- Manage waste disposal, chemical handling, air emissions, stormwater, and other environmental programs
- Investigate near misses, incidents, and root causes, and help implement corrective actions
- Train employees on safe work practices, emergency procedures, PPE, and environmental awareness
- Maintain accurate documentation, permits, SDS files, and compliance records
- Champion continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental stewardship
- Partner with operations and leadership to build a strong safety-first culture
- Experience in EHS, environmental compliance, industrial safety, or manufacturing safety
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental permits, hazardous waste, and chemical safety
- Strong communication skills - comfortable engaging with teams on the floor and in meetings
- Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and recommend practical solutions
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to lead by example
- Certifications a plus (but not required): OSHA 30, CHMM, ASP, CSP, HAZWOPER
