Responsibilities / Tasks
  • Assist in designing and improving under guidance for manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
  • Support workflow and layout analysis with direction from senior engineers.
  • Help maintain process control techniques to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
  • Participate in the implementation of new manufacturing technologies, methods, and techniques.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to develop and implement quality control procedures.
  • Assist with manufacturability reviews and documentation for new product development.
Your Profile / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related roles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, and welding.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards (ISO, FDA, etc.).
  • Experience with process validation and equipment qualification.
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $75,000 - $86,000 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.

The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job‑related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
