Position: Mechanical Manufacturing Project Manager (prefabrication)
Location: Town of Texas

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Manufacturing Project Manager to join a growing team in the Fort Worth area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on project management professional who understands both mechanical fabrication/manufacturing and mechanical construction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with sheet metal, piping, HVAC/mechanical systems, fabrication, and installation, and will be comfortable managing projects from the initial planning and fabrication stages through field installation and completion.

If you understand how a project gets fabricated, coordinated, delivered, and installed in the field, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Manage mechanical projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Coordinate closely with fabrication/manufacturing teams, field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and customers
  • Review project drawings, specifications, schedules, and scopes of work
  • Coordinate sheet metal, piping, HVAC, and other mechanical fabrication requirements
  • Work with fabrication teams to ensure materials and components are produced accurately and according to project specifications
  • Oversee project procurement, material requirements, production schedules, and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate fabrication and field installation schedules to ensure a seamless transition from shop to jobsite
  • Identify potential project issues and develop solutions before they impact schedule or budget
  • Track project costs, change orders, labor, materials, and overall project performance
  • Communicate regularly with customers, project stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Collaborate with field Superintendents and crews to resolve construction and installation issues
  • Review project progress and ensure work is completed according to quality and safety standards
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, budgets, and reporting
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and customers

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of mechanical project management experience
  • Strong background in mechanical construction and/or mechanical fabrication
  • Hands-on experience with sheet metal, piping, HVAC, or related mechanical systems
  • Understanding of mechanical fabrication processes and shop operations
  • Experience coordinating fabrication with field installation
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and change orders
  • Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, field personnel, fabrication teams, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Construction or manufacturing project management experience preferred

The Ideal Candidate

We're particularly interested in candidates who have progressed through mechanical construction, fabrication, or field operations and have developed into strong project managers.

You may be a great fit if you have experience as a:

Mechanical Project Manager | Fabrication Project Manager | Sheet Metal Project Manager | Piping Project Manager | HVAC Project Manager | Mechanical Construction PM | Fabrication Manager | Mechanical Estimator/PM

Most importantly, you understand that successful mechanical projects require strong coordination between the shop and the field.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Join an established and growing organization
  • Play a key role in managing mechanical manufacturing and construction projects
  • Work alongside experienced fabrication and field teams
