Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) has an immediate opening for a dynamic Senior Traffic Engineer in our growing Traffic/ITS Group in Lone Tree, Colorado. You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Group, which includes structural, geotechnical, MOT, pavement, utilities, drainage, roadway, rail, traffic, and materials disciplines. This infrastructure design group is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects.
As a Senior Traffic Engineer, you will be leading and mentoring engineers/designers and collaborating with our other design centers to provide traffic engineering expertise and design for design/build and other alternative delivery projects across North America.

• Lead, mentor and oversee entry- to mid-level staff.

  • Apply traffic engineering principles, standards, and best practices to develop safe and efficient transportation solutions.
  • Review and evaluate traffic operations, construction phasing, and maintenance of traffic plans to support project delivery and safety objectives.
