Functional Analyst (SQL & Banking) – Regulatory Reporting Project

We’re looking for a
Functional Analyst to support a major regulatory reporting project across five EU countries. If you have banking or financial services experience, strong analytical thinking, and an eye for detail — we want to hear from you!
This role is perfect for someone who is confident in data, understands business needs, and enjoys turning complex requirements into smart solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Analyze regulatory reporting requirements across multiple EU banking entities
- Support the development of BI and reporting solutions (data definitions, transformations, mappings)
- Translate business needs into technical specifications
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and developers
- Participate in solution testing, documentation, and handover
- Deliver accurate, standardized regulatory reports
- Confident with SQL (you don’t need to be a developer, but you can handle queries and work with data)
- Experienced in analysis – functional, data, financial, or business analysis
- Have banking
, insurance
, or financial services background (even partial experience counts!) - Understand regulatory reporting (Solvency, IFRS, or other regulatory frameworks)
- Fluent in English – you’ll work in an international team
- Enjoy solving puzzles and making complex things simple
- Have strong communication skills to bridge business and technical teams
- Are proactive and not afraid to ask questions or suggest improvements
