Salaries: $61,000 – $75,000; $85,000 – $110,000; $70,000 – $100,000.

• Build strong client relationships year over year.
• Conduct tax interviews face‑to‑face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (tax notice, audit representation).
• Mentor and support teammates.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone and in writing.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher.
