Controller - Finance

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Controller - Finance. The Controller is responsible for the planning, direction and management of the financial information of the hotel and for establishing, coordinating and administering all financial systems, internal controls and the hotel's capital plan. As well as for the daily operations of the Finance Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and recommends the department's budget and objectives and manages within those approved plans.
• Provide the timely dissemination of reports to management to assist in achieving bottom line results.
• Responsible for preparation of monthly financial reports and other reports as requested by Management including annual audit.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/financial management is preferred.

• 3-5 years’ experience with managing finances in the hospitality sector
• Must understand Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, processes and procedures.
• Must have experience in using computerized information systems with knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications required.
